【Invitation】Apply Now for the 2025 Summer Sports and Recreational Courses!
As summer holiday is approaching, PEU has prepared various sports interest courses. Welcome to participate in them. The courses include five major sports: swimming, yoga, tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Some classes are available at both beginner and intermediate levels, so you can choose the one that best matches your skill level. The classes are scheduled between June and early July. See below for details:

Note: to ensure the teaching quality and effect, for those who registered for the swimming advanced course, you must complete the 50-meter breaststroke swimming test in the first lesson.
I. Registration Information
1. All courses are open to both students and staff. One can only register for only one course, with a flat fee of 300 RMB per participant.
2. The registration link will be available at 9:00 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025. Confirmation emails will be sent to the registers based on the order of registration. Please follow the instructions in the email to complete payment and join the WeChat group within the specified time. If payment is not received on time, your spot will be released. Those who do not secure a spot will not be notified separately.

II. Course Information
1. All courses are taught in Chinese. Each course will be held if the minimum number of participants is reached.
2. Please arrange the time properly. Refund, transfer of course and quota are not allowed after successful payment.
3. If the attendance is less than 50% of total, one will be disqualified from the future sports interest courses.
4. Please arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the class, sign in with student/staff ID, warm up and get prepared.
5. Please arrange the diet properly. Do not exercise when you are fasting, overly full, or fatigued.
III. Dress Code & Equipment Requirements
1. Swimming courses: Please bring your own swimming suit, swimming trunks, swimming goggles, swimming cap, bath towel and other necessities.
2. Yoga courses: Yoga mats will be provided. You can bring your own yoga towel if desired.
3. Tennis, badminton, and table tennis courses: Please bring your own racket.
4. Please bring water and supplies.
IV. Health Declaration
1. All participants are suggested to ensure they are suitable to exercise before attending the course.
2. It is not suitable for people suffering from viral hepatitis, bacterial dysentery, conjunctivitis, psoriasis, athlete’s foot, ringworm, acute intestinal illnesses, infectious diseases, or conditions such as heart disease, mental illness, high blood pressure, epilepsy, hepatitis, otitis media, or hearing impairments, as well as those under the influence of alcohol to swim.
3. Those with high blood pressure or serious joint injuries are not suitable to take part in yoga classes.
4. Participants with high blood pressure, heart disease, asthma, or other chronic cardiovascular conditions are not suitable to take part in table tennis, badminton, or tennis classes.
5. If you feel unwell during any class, please inform the instructor immediately.
